As the new generation has approached, the prices of everything have been shot up like groceries, to sanitary products to insurances to protect oneself from anything bad that may come. Health insurance is one thing which nobody should be living without. One, without being healthy, cannot function properly and that affects themselves as well as their family members.

But, as the prices of health insurance have been shot up, there are many individuals or families who have a hard time to afford it and are looking for health insurance alternatives. Here, we’ll talk about some alternatives to the traditional health insurance.

Many physicians are offering a primary care membership, where one can get a membership by paying a monthly fee every month, just like one would for a library or gym membership. Under that membership, the family or the individual gets thealmost unlimited amount of medical care from getting regular check-ups to pediatric caring to even blood tests. It can be said that under a membership like this, one gets all their primary medical needs covered. Although this kind of membership does not include any hospital visits or disastrous injuries.

Some people who prefer paying for their medical treatments in cash can opt for the discount card for medical services. These cards are mostly free, but sometimes they require a little monthly fee along with a one-time fee while others require only a one time fee. They give discounts upto 80% which is very much useful for common people, and these cards can be used for either prescription or hospital and physician purposes, whereas some cards can be used for both.

For young and generally healthy people who don’t need health insurance except for catastrophic incidents, insurance which is highdeductible and low premium comes in use because they cover the hospital charges and the bills of anything major which is not foreseen and still keeps the costs low.
